Avantrural
A strange word to say but one that is most pleasing to comprehend. We take 'avant' from the front of 'avant-garde' and stick it to the word 'rural', which is used in the same way as 'urban': an umbrella term for many musical genres. This is our mission, we are Avantrural.
We have been behind festival events in Devon and Cornwall (DeviocK, ARSE and of course Wattsfest) and the Veggie Box club nights in Exeter. We've also been known to set up camp a little further afield with nights in Brighton and London.
Alongside our passion to promote great music has always been our commitment to cooking great food and our tasty meals are always a talking point at our events. We also take the Avantrural kitchen on the road; look out for our latest venture 'The Garam Guru', serving up delicious curries at other festivals this summer!
